We are proud to introduce the latest cutting edge technology in retinal imaging, the Optos Daytona Optomap OCT, now featured at our Fayetteville office with Dr Michael Ennis. Whereas conventional retinal photography takes a picture of approximately just 10% of the retina, the Optomap captures up to 85% of the retina and the anatomical layer below it, the choroid, usually without the need for a drop to dilate the pupils.

One quick scan shows 85% of a retina, helping your optometrist to immediately identify potential health issues.
This amazing device allows your eye doctor to see retinal, optic nerve and cornea structures not visible through regular exam methods by using light to provide a high resolution scan meant to pick up early signs of structural change or disease. Your eye doctor can now see even the smallest changes in the retina and optic nerve with greater accuracy, and much higher definition, making early and accurate detection of common sight threatening eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, easier than ever before.
