A native of Thomaston, Ga, Dr. Reeves received a B.S. in Biology from North Georgia State College and Doctor of Optometry from UAB in Birmingham, Alabama.
After graduating from optometry school, he became a senior partner in a practice in Hickory, NC where he practiced for ten years.
In 2009, after several years of making trips to Haiti to do eye care, the Reeves family moved to Haiti to be full time medical missionaries. They started an orphanage, multiple clinics, feeding programs, school sponsorship programs, and various other community development projects.
In 2013, a year after returning to the U.S. to care for their children, Dr. Reeves joined a cataract surgery and corneal specialty practice in his home state of Georgia. He also served as interim pastor for Byne Memorial Baptist Church.
Dr. Reeves and his family moved to Fayetteville in 2018 to join Dr. Ennis’ practice and to be closer to family. Dr. Reeves is very excited about being a part of the Fayetteville community where his father trained as a paratrooper. Dr. Reeves specializes in hard to fit contact lenses, dry eye treatment, and helping patients overcome the strain of constant screen time exposure.
